In the human history the wheel became extension of “foot”, tools became extension of “hand”, communication became extension of an” individual”, learning became extension of “teaching” and undoubtedly in the age of information technology INTER-NET has become extension of “classroom”. In an average institution, instruction conforms to routine mechanical exercise in which the teacher is a storehouse of information and learner is a passive recipient of un-proportionate content poured unscientifically into his head. Kendriya Vidyalayas have always been pace and trend-setting institutions that lay stress on innovative teaching strategies making the learning a child centred activity in which the learner experiences joy in being an integral part of the whole exercise. |

The launching of our own web site is a modest effort in the direction of creating a platform for the learners to be a part of global arena of learning. It will also motivate our faculty members to set and achieve yet higher targets by acquiring effective classroom management skills.
Kendriya vidyalaya Duliajan has an outstanding academic track and we always strive for reaching the stage beyond excellence. Every year a good number of our students are selected in Medical, Engineering & Management courses in India and abroad. In order to keep pace with the changing scenario in the field of information technology and to provide our children the best available to them outside as well, we have launched this web site. The web page will also give an opportunity to our alumni to be with us in our mission of touching the limits of the sky. Both of us will take pride in being together at global platform.
We are deeply indebted to Shri M. Radhakrishnan, Asstt. Commissioner KVS (SR), for his kind guidance in all our academic pursuits. We also express our sincere gratitude to the OIL Management for their wholehearted support in developing this KV as a model KV in true spirit. We sincerely thank our PTA for their genuine co-operation in all our endeavours.
